Participants take a hands-on tour of the Vista environment, learn to create a discussions board, and add icons that link to Vista tools and pages of content. Explore how to use communication tools such as email and chat and learn how to manage files and create a learning module in the Vista environment. Seating is limited. Managing Grade Book and Creating Quizzes for Vista Using Respondus

This session will cover the many options available to instructors when managing student information such as posting student grades and managing the Vista electronic gradebook as well as answer questions about tracking student access and usage within the Vista course. PowerPoint can greatly enhance a lecture or professional presentation by enabling faculty to incorporate graphics, audio, and video into their presentations. This introductory session will give instructors a hands-on approach.
These sessions will be held Monday - Friday beginning Wednesday, May 28, 2008, and ending Friday, June 13, 2008. All sessions will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the MCC Annex. This is a question and answer session. Please prepare specific questions and bring materials (i.e., syllabus, lecture notes, assessments) on a disk or flash drive. These sessions are for Faculty and Staff only.
