AASU VoIP Phone System

Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU), Coastal Georgia Community College, East Georgia College, South Georgia College, and Waycross College are implementing a collaborative VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) telephone system.
The Directory on the phone system includes all the phone numbers for each institution. Armstrong Atlantic State University telephone numbers will begin with 4. When searching in the directory please be sure that you are selecting the Armstrong phone numbers.
 

VoIP Login for IP Telephones at AASU. To begin using the phones users must first log into your telephone number.

1. The first prompt on the telephone disply asks for your extension number. This is the last 5 digits of your telephone number, i.e., if your number is 344-1234, enter 41234.
2. At the password prompt, enter your telephone password. If you do not know your telephone password please contact the Helpdesk at 344-2518 or by email at helpdesk@armstrong.edu for assistance.
 
The VoIP phone can connect to on-campus calls to other VoIP phones by using the 5 digit extension numbers.

This interactive model has pictured 9630 in the example but 9620, 9630, 9640 models are similar in functionality and the tutorial applies to all three models.
